    For all the times they’ve faced danger together, Moomin had never seriously considered what kinds of perils his friend must encounter on his own. Snufkin is so capable, so wise and clever, and never returns to Moominvalley worse for wear. But Moomin knows that exposure can be very, very dangerous, even more so than a wolf or a goblin or any manner of creature. It’s very odd to think about Snufkin facing anything and not coming out on top, but the elements can be tremendously cruel and unforgiving, even for someone so experienced.
