Pelayo froze.
Fina, catching the change in demeanor added with emphasis: “On. The. Mouth.”***AKA Homosexuals being absolutely useless at pretending to be straight.

This work diverges from the normal timeline by assuming Fina is still all in and on board with the fake marriage and Pelayo hasn't been a self serving d*ck and really is their BFF. Based in part on a personal experience.

Marta’s eyes flicked down at the hand and then to the clipboard. “Is that the inventory?”“Yes.” Fina stared at Marta’s face, distracted by her steely eyes and chiseled jawline. The air between them was electric as their eyes met. Fina’s breath quickened.
“Hmm.” Marta took hold of the clipboard and tossed it in the chair behind the desk. “That’s a tomorrow problem.” She pulled Fina in by the waist, electing a gasp from the brunette, and whispered into her ear, “I have more important things to do.” She pulled the younger woman’s lobe into her mouth, biting down, before beginning to unbutton the jacket of her uniform.
***She's an exemplary employee but poor Claudia was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Fleur always said she was fine with the thought of never experiencing true love at first sight. This was pure cope, handcrafted by Fleur over a decade of seething over never being able to get a happily ever after shoved down her throat with zero effort. After watching her twin sister Gabrielle have a day long meltdown over wiffing her true love encounter she was starting to realize she might've accidentally been wise beyond her years, because this was ridiculous.
Fleur never really thought about how unreliable something as vague as "first sight" was until Gabrielle made eye contact with a taxi driving down the road, cawed loud enough to kill any invisible basilisks hiding within earshot, and tried very poorly to chase after the car before tripping over her own two feet and onto her ass.
'Love at first sight probably worked better before planes were invented. Or cars. Or telescopes.' Fleur idly thought to herself as she repeatedly patted her inconsolable twin on the back.
Or: Gabrielle and Fleur are identical twins, Gabrielle is Hermione's soulmate, and everyone involved just assumes Hermione already knows the first two facts.
