   Summary

A town rallies for a final stand, a cruel captain meets a fate worse than death. In the end, the town prevails, though forever scarred, and gets to see the new year’s sunrise. That’s how the story goes.

Until a freak storm breaks the narrative.

The harsh waves and whipping winds spare Grayfang from the fateful bite that would have given Grimshire a shred of mercy. Now with the pirates as permanent residents of the fjord, will the farmer manage to provide enough to stave off starvation, or will the village burn?

   Summary

On the heels of a terrible calamity, Grimshire welcomes a new member to its community. Little do they know this would be the beginning of a long and arduous year. It will take all of their collective strength and willpower to weather the storm that is coming, but perhaps this new refugee-turned-farmer will be their ace in the hole... if he stopped acting so strange towards the Queen's tax collector.
