Summary
Told from the perspective of Sirius Black, this is the love story of Sirius and Remus, starting during their fifth year at Hogwarts and ending in 1996 when they are thirty-six years old and living together at Grimmauld Place. What started out as mere lust quickly turns to love as Sirius and Remus grow from boys to men.
Young Remus has a lot of ambitions regarding his life after Hogwarts. He wants to be a teacher and an alchemist, and he wants to spy on werewolves for the Order of the Phoenix. But young and brilliant Sirius, who could accomplish anything he desired, doesn't want anything . . . except Remus.

"I know this is difficult for you," said Remus gently, "but we've still got two years at Hogwarts. I'm not going anywhere just yet. And who knows? You might get tired of me long before graduation."
