Summary
John unclenches from the weight of Paul’s, being way too close from his nape. In distant length, he says, “just makin’ sure you don’t get whisked off by a man who wants to lure you ‘round the loos in here and ravish you in the toilets.”
Paul stares at him with a staggered pause, eyes weirdly confused, before he blows it off with an ugly cackle, soon changing to him hacking something out as he begrudgingly swallows and croaks, “you’re crazy.”

John is jealous and overprotective, and is exhausted from having to constantly fight creepy men off. Maybe he eventually starts saying that Paul is his, belongs to him, to keep people away.
