Summary
“If they say that I act like their Dad, there is no world in which you are not their Mom” Steve said, dragging his gaze back to you from the window.
You felt your cheeks blush slightly, hoping the darkness of the night would cover it.
“Careful they’ll hear you and start calling us Mommy and Daddy” you responded with a chuckle.
Steve choked slightly at your response and you raised a curious eyebrow at him.
“Shut up” he responded, a little too quickly.
“Have I touched a nerve Harrington?” you teased, a sly grin on your face as you relit the cigarette you had in your hand, tendrils of smoke releasing into the air from where you inhaled.
“Don’t start with the last naming again” he warned, rolling his eyes at you.
You knew how easy it was to push his buttons. In fact your entire …situationship with Steve Harrington was built on it. He would react to the smallest of your jibes, and it was a two way street, there was nobody in the group who could wind you up in the same way.
