15th of November, 1994: in an interview with NME, frontman of The Quarrymen, John Lennon, came clean about his thoughts on his contemporary and fellow musical sensation, Wings, helmed by Paul McCartney — ‘Well, it’s great for some. But, I dunno, I listen to them and it all just sounds like, silly love songs, to me.’
Less than a month later, Wings releases their second single, Silly Love Songs.

(Kink meme prompt). Inspired by Muhammad Ali apparently calling Paul "pretty boy" during that photoshoot in Miami. Paul doesn't actually mind when men call him pretty, but John won't let it go—probably due to his own blinding jealousy. Paul shows him it's not such a bad thing to be called after all. (Bonus points if Paul gets John to touch himself while he watches).
