The man put down the drink with a little clink, looking down bashfully. Cute, Sirius thought. “It was hm—a gig.”
“A gig?”
The man nodded. “I’m a musician, as you probably put together. Sometimes schools will ask if I can perform there,” he shrugged.
Huh. “Why schools though?”
The man blinked, a slow lopsided smile forming. Sirius felt like he was missing something but was very content watching the way the red, slightly swollen lips from the steaming tea slid into a toothy smile. “I think you can figure that out on your own,” he replied.
