Aizawa hums. Hanta looks down, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Is that how you see it? As a matter of luck?” Aizawa’s hand settles onto Hanta’s shoulder, warm in contrast to the cool air of the night. “We’ve been training specifically to eliminate luck from the equation, Sero. It wasn’t luck that allowed you to stay focused, or for your aim to be accurate, or for you to act without hesitation.”
Hanta meets his gaze, and swallows hard. “It wasn’t?”
