Summary
Lily turned towards Mary only to find her already looking. Mary smiled at her like she always did, like it meant nothing. This time, however, Lily would not let her get away with it, and she would not tell herself it meant nothing. She had made the jump; now she could only hope that Mary would catch her.
__Lily and Mary spend the evening alone in their dorm and end up sharing their love for each other, softly and inevitably.

Summary
"What's your favorite colour?" he asks, and then looks at her with the same intensity he looked at the stars with. Sirius's star. His brother and Pandora. Both so far from him, from the way he looks at them.
Violet, she wants to say, because in theory, that is her favorite colour. It is light, and it is calming. It's the colour she uses in every single one of her paintings, always has and always will. It is her clothes and her bedroom walls, her nail polish and viola flowers. It's everywhere around her, and had anyone else asked, she would have said violet, always violet.
But it isn't. It isn't, and he knows it, because Regulus Black pays attention, he likes to know his surroundings, even if he doesn't show it much, and he would not bother asking if he knew. Her favorite colour isn't violet, no matter what everyone she knows may think. No, her favorite colour is something else, and Regulus is the first person who ever asked, because Regulus is the first person who ever looked past her and through to her soul.
Or, Pandora and Regulus are sitting at the astronomy tower, and he asks what her favorite colour is.
