"Barusu it's that time again."
Turning his head around from sweeping the floor Subaru saw none other than Ram standing at the doorway, plain expression on her face as usual.
Like she said, 'It's that time again.' He knew what she was asking for. "Alright I'll meet you in the room in five minutes, I have to finish this really quick."
Ram nodded and walked off down the hallway to their designated location.
Subaru pursed his lips and looked up at the ceiling. Running his right hand down his stressed mug he went back to finish sweeping the hallway floor.
He wasn't mad at her, he felt mostly disappointed in himself that he agreed to something like this. Subaru thought himself better than this, but his mind wandered in to the gutter when it came to decision making that night.
One night, after drinking a few glasses of wine together, Subaru and Ram form an arrangement to something pretty scandalous.
With the both of them frustrated on how the relationships of the people they want to be with are going, the two of them form a mutual agreement to use each other's bodies to vent and fulfill their needs.
Over time, it develops into something more.

Anastasia Hoshin had always thought herself rather good at taking things. It was, after all, what a vampire did. A little blood here, a little life there; enough to satisfy the hunger and leave nothing behind but an empty vessel.
Then Subaru Natsuki came along. And, really, he should have been easy to send away. Instead, he begged to stay.
He had nowhere else to go, so he said. How could she have possibly sent him away? She figured that'd been enough. How could she, as a vampire, ever deny such a deal?
But people are not so simple as things, and neither are the bonds they form.
It would seem she hadn't properly gauged what it would mean to keep him.
