First 27 chapters were wonderful. Post the 11 chapters of an antagonist I don't care about because you did 11 chapters in a row when our protagonist was just beaten by a baseball bat it's disinteresting until she's in David's care.
TLDR: Authors need to stop doing mini-series' mid fic immediately after putting the protagonist in a perilous situation.
