Summary
Everyone and their mother has heard of the Stampede Brothers. Their name has been cursed by marshals across the territory, feared by bank owners and bartenders, and are the fearsome vagabonds children defeat in their games. Wolfwood’s heard of them, like every other disrespectable man on this side of the country, he’s seen the posters, he’s known good and well to stay away. But then he stumbles upon one of them hidden deep in the valley, with eyes full of sorrow, but free of the guns and violence and blood. Wolfwood wants to crawl in his skin and figure out what that life feels like.
