Summary
Two days before the burning of the Fairy Fort, Lizzie hands Cleo a bouquet of wildflowers.
Cleo accepts it with some confusion. She turns it around in her hands; examines it with a critical eye. They’re perfectly ordinary, of course, but Lizzie’s still- Lizzie can’t be trusted. She’s a fae, however much she tries to cover it up with wide smiles and sparkling eyes and “oh, no, I’m actually a fairy!”s, and fae (as everyone knows) simply cannot be trusted.
But no one says Cleo can’t pretend to fall for it, so they offer Lizzie a grin and a nod.

Purpled had raced to his favorite rooftop as soon as he was done with patrol, like he always did. It had become some sort of ritual for him. Finish a patrol, go chill on a rooftop. His fellow heroes knew of it, they didn’t care as long as he was safe. Which he always made sure of, nothing ever went wrong in his plans at all.
Up here he had the best point of view of the city in his opinions, the fact that his favorite place to get a milkshake from was nearby didn’t hurt in the matter. He smiled before pulling up the bottom of his mask to sip the banana milkshake he had bought minutes before.
