Violet Laynes wanted to help her community, having been raised by Vander and watching him help out. Instead of following her father into the shelters and kitchens, she instead chose another route- the paramedic route. While she had happily decided this was just the job for her, she couldn't help but begin pining towards a specific doctor she saw every single night while delivering to the emergency department.
