Summary
Needle, in an act of frustration, creates a group chat and invites all of her friends who are busy mourning over the fact that they will, likely, never get with their crushes.
The group then creates a pact: They had to confess to their crush by the end of the year, or else. A pact that none of them wanted to do, or break.
Through a couple nights of crying, and heartbreak, and many, many panic attacks, each member of the group goes through a long process of change, for the better, or the worse.

It's been a good year on Dream Island, and strange things are happening. Buildings are getting ruined, wrecked or vandalised. Recovery centres on the island get tinkered with. People keep hearing horrifying sounds at night, like screams and bellows.
And every so often, someone gets attacked.
The person doing this looks a lot like one of their old friends. Someone they left on the outside of the gates and tried forgetting about.
It's not her. They know that.
It's got red skin. And wide eyes. And it never speaks. It teleports. It looks like her, its body is the same. But the mind is not her. A killer mind. One who acts as a predator. Wanting to cause chaos and ruin people's lives, be it through fear like a nightmare, or irritation like a scab.
It's hurting them.
And nothing works.
So... maybe they should open the gates for her?
After all, she's the only one it's known to not attack. So she can help them.
But.......would she?
