In order to better explore his options for dealing with the Empire as the war wages on, Claude von Riegan goes with a small group to see if he can make contact with one of the few resisting forces in the Empire, Duke Rodrigue Fraldarius.
Yet, on the way, they run into an Imperial scouting team that meant to cause trouble for the Galatea region. Things are looking troublesome... when they get help from a man people thought dead.
Claude doesn't plan on letting a chance at answers just slip past him, however.
