I loved him. Shameless. Laid before him, a stupid lamb in a slaughterhouse.
He was like a shadow, cold there and then he left. I’d hardly gotten to know the time he was there, the short time being.But in those few moments of shadow, he stole my very soul out from under me. Like the devil himself. He gazed at me, golden eyes shining with something that I now know was hunger, and I was captured. I was ironically and irrevocably in love with him. And he knew that very well.
Or: Bella finally Snaps out her trance at the beginning of New Moon but instead she comes out angry, afraid, and vengeful.

Summary
Imprinting was supposed to be a wonderful thing. Everyone was excited when one day Jacob came home smelling like he'd freshly imprinted. This was supposed to be the final big step for him, that he'd finally found his soulmate, for all intents and purposes.
But that all changed when they found out who exactly Jacob had imprinted on.
