    “Missed you," He finally says, voice muffled from the way Daou continues to squish his face, and he shifts closer, their knees knocking.

    Daou releases him and pouts back playfully. He grips Offroad’s neck again and Offroad allows his big eyes to slowly begin to roll, before they finally open again.
    Offroad moves a hand upward until he finds the thick press of Daou’s thigh, squeezing it lightly through the fabric of his sweatpants.

    "Missed you too," Daou finally replies, his thumb brushing Offroad's lower lip. It's swollen slightly from where he'd most likely been biting at it earlier as he worked.

    No matter how long they’ve been together, Daou and Offroad will always miss each other after hours spent apart.
