Summary
Three years after defeating the kishin Asura, Maka and soul visit the ruins of Baba Yaga castle hoping to gain some more sense of closure. Instead of finding closure at the castle, they find an oddly familiar young child. It seems Lord Death has a second chance with his first born son now, maybe this time around fear can be managed.
In other words, Asura actually gets a childhood now, maybe he can be less messed up this time around. Title is from Fowards Beckons Rebound by Adrianna Lenker.

Asura is in a bleary, barely awake state as Lord Death comes down to maintain the seals on his prison that keep him from reawakening. Daddy issues rear their head as Asura thinks about how he was never a child, much more how he was never Lord Death's child, before being forced back into sleep.
This is my first ever fic (That I've posted anywhere at least) and i genuinely have no clue how to use this site yet so i apologize for any formatting issues or such. This was also not beta read, i was just having thoughts about Asura while listening to Class of 2013 by Mitski.
