    There was the sound of the door shutting. A few footsteps.

    “She’s not here?” the voice asked.

    Zoey dropped her voice lower, almost conspiratorial. “No. She went out—probably won’t be back for, like… fifteen, twenty minutes.”

    A beat of silence. Then a quiet chuckle. “Good. Then I can steal you for a while.”

    There was a nervous little hiccup of laughter from Zoey. “Wait—don’t get too close, I’m still live—”

    “I’ll stay out of frame,” the voice promised, tone coaxing.

    The sound of a hand brushing fabric, then a soft shuffle—the mic catching the rustle as Zoey was pulled slightly sideways. A faint smack of lips meeting. Quick. Too quick to be mistaken.

    Chat slowed to a crawl.

    It's their first trip together as a couple and the timing couldn't be more ideal. The sun is shining, they're in love, and there's really no better way to enjoy the seaside paradise than spending it with your beloved.

    Yor's inexperience makes the trip a little rocky though, finding herself distracted and fumbling, trying to get a grip of her own feelings. Feelings and clumsiness that Ada could only witness and receive openly. She was endearing as she was clumsy after all.
