Summary
All of it, spilt between two violent dogs snapping their teeth at one another every other day. A concerned sounding “Kaveh?” Came from the other sound of the door. Heh that’s funny Kaveh thought deliriously. Imagine a world where Alhathiam could ever worry about him. Be concerned, for him even. Hah, Man he’s dizzy, well kind of, it’s not quite the right word. His head feels heavy, and like he’s underwater, and there’s so many bright colors, it’s kinda pretty everything else aside. He’s content to sit and watch the colors swirl around for a bit. “Kaveh, unlock the door or I’m getting a key” said the much more panicked sounding monotone voice. Oh yea it’s his house, of course he’d have a key to all the rooms.

In other words, kaveh tries his best, but ends up reverting back to old “coping skills” and Alhathaim puts down his book and actually notices.
