In a world where few people sport supernatural abilities, there are always those that will use their gifts for their own gain. One of the most notorious cases of these in Sandside is none other than the telekinetic Mastermind.
Thankfully, there are a dedicated group of heroes determined to take them, and every other villain, down. The healer Heart, the strongman Prince, the shadowbender Paranoia, the shapeshifter Serpent, and the illusionist Duke, all together forming the League. It has been difficult juggling double-lives, but get togethers between friends help stave away the stress. So long as their civilian friend Specs doesn’t get into any trouble, what can go wrong?Considering every closet has a few skeletons- so, so much.

Alternative description: Roman, Patton, Virgil, Janus, and Remus are superheroes and have Logan as their civilian friend. Between new threats on the rise and secrets desperate to stay hidden, there's always something ready to throw a wrench into the group's plans. Prepare for fluffy silly moments, and where the author believes that angst is a balanced part of a complete breakfast.

{ABANDONED WORK}
Big Mama paid them.
Barron Draxum worked with them.
Lou Jitsu feared them.
And yet despite all their, fragile, relationships with everyone else- who doesn’t enjoy the sight of baby turtles? Especially the little red-eared slider?
It’s been 13 years since the human or the Yokai world has seen them, and now they finally return after a year the Shredder has been defeated.
Things weren’t looking too good for the turtles in the arena, Big Mama having been able to trap them in the ring with one of her current champions. The creature was an old thing, and many wondered if it was even a yokia or mystical being at all. Some pondered if Draxum was back at it with his experimentations, given the more mechanical movements of the lave spewing lizard.
Big Mama clacked her clawed fingers together, ready to be rid of the turtles. That is, until a servant brings dire news. In shock, she grabbed at the audio system.
“Stop the fight!”The fight could continue later. Now was the time to meet one of her old friends.
(Leo being leader did happen, but Raph and Leo decided to ignore it. They're bigger fish to fry)
