Summary
There are lines Andrew Minyard knows he shouldn’t cross, and Neil Josten is all of them.
He’s Kevin’s little brother, Coach Wymack’s baby boy, and untouchable in more ways than one. But Neil—maddeningly beautiful, frustratingly carefree, and entirely unaware of his own allure—has a way of pulling everyone into his orbit.
The more Andrew resists, the closer he’s drawn, and he’s left to confront the one feeling he never wanted: wanting something—or someone—he can’t have.

Summary
Andrew, already, could see a lot of his younger self in Olwen. She had hair so blond it was almost white, and an almost entirely blank look on her face. Her eyes were brown, too, though a much, much darker brown than Andrew and Aaron’s. Maybe Olwen got them from her mother. Andrew’s eyes, in the sunlight, sometimes looked more gold than brown, according to Neil’s disgustingly flattering words. Olwen’s were duller and darker, like maybe, at one point, they could have been the same as Andrew’s, but had been stained by the rottenness of humankind.
-
After practice one day, Nicky gets a call from a social worker, asking him if he is available to take in one more Minyard—a nine-year-old girl named Olwen, and Andrew and Aaron's half-sister. They take her in without hesitation. It doesn't take long for Andrew to realize he understands Olwen all too much, and Aaron is quickly terrified that he doesn't understand her enough.Bookmarked by Rambo_Girl

Summary
"So, we're getting two more backliners?" Andrew's voice came from the entrance, his mocking grin making it difficult to tell what his medicated mind actually thought about the topic.
"No." With Andrew on the goal, they only needed one trustworthy backliner. Kevin's injured hand hindered him on the offense, and Seth… that one was out of salvation. They needed support on the attack, someone fast with good aim and more bold than any other player in the league... "One striker and one backliner."

Summary
Andrew looked at the grainy photo of Neil Josten and thought brown, bland, boring and blegh. But that wasn’t the problem, the problem was the synthetic, manic smile on his face. “Experimental anti-psychotic drugs” it said glaringly in red. According to the court of law beating two full grown men to death, whilst trying to protect his mum, was deemed excessively violent. Andrew considered this to be pretty justified but that may just be his apathetic nature and lack of morals.
Or
Neil Josten killed Jackson Plank and Romeo Malcom when they tried to assault Mary. That day he also put Lola six feet under, but hey, no body, no crime right? Neil Josten a little more dangerous, a little more annoying and a whole lot more mouthy.Bookmarked by Rambo_Girl
