When Fury heard about Daisy Johnson leaving S.H.I.E.L.D he decided to approach her with an offer. Help them deal with the remnant of the chitauri weapons left in exchange of giving her the resources and the authority she needed to continue her quest against the watchdogs.
It would have been a good offer, one that Daisy would have considered if she wasn’t trying to kill herself taking down those bases.
Fury knew Johnson was on suicide run that was exactly why he was trying to recruit her. He may have labeled her a risk in the past but now with the avenger fractured she was probably the last lines of defense earth had in case of another invasion. She had too much potential to let it go to waste.
She needed a reason to live. So he would give her one.
The universe seemed to agree with him for once since Fate thought that this would be the perfect time for Daisy to meet her soul mate.
Daisy was less than happy about the whole situation.

A few changes were to be expected with an event like that.
Being so done and over with the newly created universe after less than a week was not a calculation even a twelve level intellect could have predicted.
But why the universe would stop there and not throw another curveball their way? Easy, it wouldn’t.Or
After crisis, a weird portal (?), breach (?), opened in the middle of the DEO and then a teen stumbled out of it ensuing chaos.
This unexpected arrival was only the introduction to a lot of new troubles, not only for the heroes of National City but also for a few others on Earth-Prime.The multiverse was supposedly no longer a thing, right?
So, a portal…, a breach…?
Huh… seems like Crisis really enjoyed messing with a lot of things, oops…
