Summary
You knew Childe ever since you were kids. You witnessed him disappear and change, losing all contact with him as his family sent him away to the Fatui. Now, seven years later, he returns to his home town as a Fatui Harbinger and requests to rekindle your friendship. It all seemed fine and durable until he pulled an irreversible stunt on you: a marriage proposal. Unable to decline a Harbinger, you are forced to go through with his plans. Life begins to feel like a fairytale dream, until you slowly become more aware of his darker sides, and of his true dealings with the Fatui. As you try to figure out if Childe is genuine with his affections or not, and as you begin to fall for him, the sweet dream that he promised you slowly turns into a nightmare. Questions intrudes your mind as you realize your marriage is not based on love or friendship: what does he truly want from you? Are you merely an ornament that he keeps around for the sake of his sanity?
