“You can decide for yourself,” says Jack. “Hannibal has officially been transported to his cell at Baltimore Hospital. They did a few…standard intake assessments upon his arrival.”
“You can’t diagnose him,” Will says, almost automatically. “There’s no label for what he is.”
“They didn’t. But one of the intake assessments was a classification test. His government records indicate that he’s a neutral. Well, this test revealed that he’s a little.”
Will freezes in his chair, his mind reeling.

No one knows that Hannibal is a little until he goes to prison. Will doesn’t think about this at all. No, really.

Summary
Hannibal decides not to frame Will for his murders. However, that complicates things in ways Hannibal didn't predict. After recovering from encephalitis, Will disappears. Hannibal doesn't handle it well.
When the bodies of killers start showing up around the country, Hannibal takes notice. And when Will finally returns, he's not the same person that left Hannibal behind.
He's better.

Summary
I call to you, Oneiros, that you may hear me, and come to my aid when I say your name out loud.
Will stands by Chilton's desk, his eyes shut, a paper in his grasp.
Hannibal had been free, and now, he was his only hope, for Will to be able to escape this hellhole for once and for all.
He had all the time to pray, but now it was time to take action.
He feels a sudden yank and the piece of paper slips out of his grip, and he opens his eyes, only to find Chilton standing beside him, mouth widened in disbelief.
"Morpheus? What does it mean?" He demanded, showing the paper to Will in disbelief.
"It is the name of the God of Dreams." Will remarks, not wanting to explain any further.
Chilton frowns at Will's words. "You're writing him a letter?"
"Something like that." He shrugs, glancing back at the human.
Chilton scoffs at Will's sheer stupidity, and walks towards the lit fireplace, tearing the paper into pieces.
"You're mine. By law. The God of Dreams can't save you." Chilton announces, tossing the scraps of paper into the fireplace, flames greedily lapping at the organic material.
Will holds back a grin at what Chilton had unknowingly done.
