“Yo!” The greeting rings in his ears like a microphone dropped on solid ground. It’s a voice Satoru has learned to memorize, try so hard to forget, yet also look for all at the same damn time.
“Satoru,” it purrs.
That can’t be right.
It purrs his name all the same. Uncannily the same.
“Long time no see,” the voice croaks again, closer. Too close. Too real.
It's just another dream, another far fantasy his mind has made up to console his sorry and wounded heart ever since that day. He hasn’t felt the same ever since. And Satoru is convinced that his mind is just playing tricks on him like it has always done. Grief makes you think and do stupid things, you see. Grief is pregnant with delusions and hopes for a love that has nowhere to go.
However, like an Orpheus desperate to see his Eurydice again no matter the orders of Hades…

Lloyd didn’t know when he started feeling this way. Maybe it was when he used to growl at other kids his age in the Darkly’s boarding school for bad boys, maybe it was when he started collecting things he viewed as valuable, or maybe it was when he started subconsciously sleeping in a circle. Ultimately, it didn’t matter, what mattered was that Lloyd was now sat on his bedroom floor, sitting crisscross with his laptop in hand, leaning against the side of his bed. He had heard of this… therian thing in passing, but decided to do research on the topic. Lloyd didn’t know when he started feeling this way. Gintoki has a lot in common with other anime mentors. The white hair, the tragic backstory, the taste for sadism... yeah, he could totally pull off a killer Kakashi cosplay if he wanted to. There's one thing that sets him apart from all of those other losers, though: Gin-san is the protagonist of his story. There's no way he'll get fridged or killed off when he's the guy selling DVDs!!!
or: Gojo and Gintoki swap universes. It'd be a little concerning if the narration wasn't brushing past it like it was nothing but a device for comedy.
