Cleo tapped her pen on the side of her textbook, lips pressed together to express her boredom. The sciences weren’t exactly her strong suit but she managed either way. She blew a strand of warm blonde from where it had fallen into her face and sat up straight to take down a few more notes. The bell rang forcing a sigh of relief out of the teen. She stood and carefully sorted her books as she returned them to her bag. She picked it up and left for her next class, geometry. As she walked through the halls, her shoes rhythmically clicking, she was suddenly stopped by a clawed hand.
