The Roz unit was contained but Vontra was not satisfied with the lenient manner in which Universal Dynamics allowed her to serve. Somewhere, there was a Roz unit within the facility who was defective and needed to be purged indefinitely.
Vontra can't act without her superiors noticing, but perhaps with the aid of another bot, she can draw the defective Roz out of hiding and get rid of her for good.

Because of changes in the timeline, Jaune's in Beacon but as a talented sous-chef with a decade of work experience, instead of a bumbling Huntsman-in-training way out of his depth. The work is tough but fulfilling, and moreover he has coworkers to cook with and friends to cook for. Can't really ask for better in his twenty years of life and counting.
