Summary
The people of Freetown wear their most precious finery. The marrieds, as always, wrap themselves in the shrouds they’ve made together along with their new life. Some bind their hands together for dancing; others blanket themselves to sit and relax. Cobb’s never been jealous of them, really, but they do make him feel some way that stretches like the coyote’s wiry howl at night.
“What are you looking at?” When the question comes, Cobb glances at Din and sees his line of sight pinning down the glittering marriage shroud Cobb had just been looking at exactly.
Cobb sniffs. Downs the rest of his drink. “Nothin’.”

Cody could see Obi-Wan move his arm slightly out of the corner of his eye. Could see him struggle. Until, finally, after seconds-minutes-hours-years Obi-Wan took Cody’s hand in his, squeezing a bit.
“I wish I could have shown you the galaxy, there are such amazing places. I wish you could have seen it in peaceful times.”
Cody squeezed his hand back, murmuring into the wind, “I wish so too.”---

Summary
They'd told them to make up stories.
But, eventually, like with all good books-- you forget the outside world, you get consumed, and if and when you do manage to drag your head up out of the water, you can’t quite let go of the narrative you've been clinging to. Sometimes you even crave the fiction more than the fact.

Summary
