Shamrock has never been given all the details, but suffice to say, his brother suitably frustrated their father to the point that the man grows cold and furious any time his renegade child is mentioned.
Which means that this discussion has moved from unstable ground to the narrowest sliver of already-cracked ice.
But.
(In the deepest corner of his heart, Shamrock has never wanted anything besides the chance to bring his brother home.)

Summary
At the very least, Shanks still being unconscious means his Voice is quiet, hardly more than a faint whisper to catch anyone’s attention. It means he isn’t trying to help, nevermind the fact he can hardly put one foot in front of the other right now, let alone move with the speed and precision it will take to successfully slip out of the Holy Land. Shamrock has been in training to become a Knight of God, to become Father’s right hand, practically all twelve years his life - a handful of paltry swordsmanship and haki lessons from uncouth pirates can hardly measure up to that, no matter what inane statements Shanks will insist upon saying out loud at the least opportune times.

Summary
Rouge made friends with the wee folk more by accident than anything, really. On both their parts; hers, by forgetting to put up a bottle of home-brewed honeywine after a night of imbibing alone, and then theirs, by not stealing said bottle outright before drinking themselves into a stupor. It was quite a surprise, stepping out onto her back porch the next morning to find twenty-odd tiny people laying in various disheveled heaps on the table and railings and flower pots. For the first few moments, Rouge honestly assumed she must’ve still been drunk out of her mind.
Then one of the very smallest individuals sat up, a tiny woven straw hat falling off his head of bright red hair, and shouted a very high-pitched “SHIT!”
