Summary
When Brienne Tarth took her Colour Perception Test at age twenty, she never expected to receive a result of eighty-six percent Blue. It should have been a blessing: the higher your perception, the easier your path is in life, whether you are one of the ruling Purples, or Blue like her, or Green, Yellow, Orange, or Red. The higher your place in the Chromatic Hierarchy, the more likely you are to inherit a title, the better your marriage prospects. The further away you are from the lowest Greys, who can see barely any natural colour, or none at all.
But even now, more than two years later, she still has no clue how she feels about that result. She has no clue how to feel about the fact that she is awkward, and ugly, and stands head and shoulders above most people, and has a high enough perception for prospective husbands to overlook all of those things.
Prospective, Purple-hued husbands like Jaime Lannister.

Once upon a time, many, many years ago, when Jon had first met Jaime Lannister, then heir to Lannister Corp., the Golden Lion had absolutely captivated him. When Jaime had spoken to him that first time, electric fire had practically shot through his veins, warming his blood and nearly setting him aflame. Jaime had been golden and handsome, smirking and dangerous, collected and cool.
And Jaime was still those first two things though a touch more silver. Everything else though… was only half true… at best. Jon would never use the words collected and cool to describe Jaime Lannister ever again. He didn’t think he would physically be able to. Not after everything he’d had to bear witness to. No, Jaime was the opposite of collected and cool, especially when it came to one Brienne Tarth.

Much to her displeasure, Brienne of Tarth has been instructed by Lady Catelyn to transport Jaime Lannister to King's Landing in exchange for her daughters. Due to her sacred oath, Brienne is just about able to resist running him through with her sword, even though he is the most irritating man on Planetos.
Even so, things change one night while she is guarding him, when Brienne falls asleep on a weirwood stump and has a very strange dream causing her perceptions of Ser Jaime to shift...
AKA. ASOS Brienne wakes up twenty years in the future and finds herself radically, unashamedly loved by her worst enemy, with whom she has twelve children.
She freaks out about it.

Jaime Lannister liked his new job, liked his employees and their cosy little office. But he adored Brienne, and she didn’t have a clue.
Jaime Lannister was watching her, and Brienne didn’t understand why. It wasn’t watching in a creepy stalker way, she never felt undressed or uncomfortable just…seen. Dissected and maybe appreciated and definitely known in a manner that was weird and a tiny bit wonderful. Jaime, her beautiful boss, who she had decided for some incomprehensible reason was lonely.
