Summary
Nothing Kaeya does helps heal the wound on his and Diluc's relationship.
He yearns for Diluc just as he did back then. His heart is bleeding and it is wanting. He loves Diluc in a way that he knows he cannot have - Diluc barely entertains the idea of a friendship with Kaeya; a romance is impossible.
But that doesn't stop Kaeya from trying.
So in his desperation, Kaeya gets an idea:
Everyone softens around a pretty face. Maybe if he tries harder, maybe if he's prettier, Diluc will give him the time of day.
