    Summary

Under the warm light of the floating lanterns, the man turned around. The golden glow caught in his hair, not just blond, but the precise shade of honey that drizzled through sunlight. His eyes, the impossible blue of alpine lakes in midsummer, met mine with startling directness. I prayed he hadn’t caught the little “whoa” I’d let out under my breath.

    Summary

    Jinki slowly raised his hand.

“Okay,” he said carefully. “I just need you to repeat that.”

Kibum sighed the sigh of a genius forced to explain his brilliance to the masses.

“For the third time,” he said, clearing his throat with a smug ceremony, “I got a job at the maid café downtown.”

    -

Kibum wants to navigate college smoothly, he’s practically a nobody and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

So when he gets a high paying part-time job as a maid at a maid café, he expects no trouble.

If only that infuriating campus jock didn’t exist.

God if only Choi Minho didn’t exist.

Wei Wuxian wakes up in a room he does not recognise, Wen Qing, Wen Ning and the Wen Remnants watching over him.

    What the fuck happened?

Across town, Lan Wangji teaches guqin at a quiet university. Every night, he plays a melody that used to belong to someone else, a song that feels like loss and home all at once.

When the melody crosses the air between them, something ancient stirs.
Two souls, one song, and a promise that not even death could silence.

Or: After over 3000 years of immortality Lan Wangji finds his beloved playing a song he tried to forget long ago and all the memories within.
