Firefly and Stelle visit a haunted house which contains a room with a True Sting. It does not go well.

A cardboard Sting pops up in front of Stelle. She stumbles backwards, nearly falling from surprise.
A burst of flame, and Sam appears. Another burst, and the Sting is a pile of ash.

Firefly lets out another dark chuckle. “Sometimes I think: Why me? Why did I survive? Or even better, why was I created?”
Stelle opens her mouth before closing it. Instead, she tightens her grip on Fireflie’s hand.
“Sorry.” Firefly wipes a tear from the corner of her eyes. “Those are questions nobody can answer. So I try not to dwell on them. Usually, I’m better than this.”Series
