    A small, disoriented sound slipping out of him.
    Relief hits Eddie so hard it almost knocks the breath out of him.
    “Yeah, that’s it,” he murmurs, softer now. “C’mon. Stay with me.”
    Buck’s brows knit together, face tightening like the world doesn’t make sense.
    “Eddie…?” he mumbles, voice rough and distant.
    “I’m here,” Eddie says immediately. “I got you. You’re okay.”
    Buck’s eyes flutter, not quite focusing. “Phone—kept—ringing…”
    Eddie swallows. “Hey, don’t worry about that right now. Just stay with me, alright? Focus on me.”

    Eddie called multiple times no answer.
