Summary
Fourteen-year-old Mia travels from Northern Ireland to Scotland for a family Christmas trip, but her true focus is a secret meeting with Whisper, a person she met on a Demon Slayer Discord server. Despite the risks, Mia sneaks out of her hotel room at midnight while her parents are asleep, picking the lock and navigating the cold Scottish streets to a nearby park.
Upon arriving, Mia meets Whisper, and the two share an emotional first meeting in person. They exchange gifts, including matching necklaces, and discuss their lives and identities. After a brief but meaningful time together in the snow, Mia reluctantly heads back to the hotel, successfully sneaking back into bed with the memory of their connection making the distance between them feel smaller than ever.

Summary
“I was beginning to wonder,” Yuuji said smoothly, “whether the night intended to deprive me of your company.”
Megumi felt his brow arch before he could stop it.
Yuuji smiled. A small, confident curve of his mouth. “It would have been unfortunate,” he continued evenly. “For morale.”
Megumi let out a quiet huff. “For morale.”
“Of the guard,” Yuuji replied easily. Then, without pause, “And my own. I find I perform best when I’ve seen you at least once a day.”
OR Megumi is a prince who must follow through with an arranged marriage in order to protect his sisters. His fathers (Suguru and Satoru) assign Yuuji, Satoru's most trusted knight, to aid Megumi during his travels and protect him from any harm. Along the way, Megumi finds that the only thing Yuuji is unable to protect him from is Megumi's own desires.
