Summary
Childhood friendship come and go as life continues, but you never expect it to happen to you. Keith and Lance sure didn’t. As life goes on, you lose touch with the people you love. When they got brought into two different crowds in high school, tensions rose, words were thrown, resulting in the end of a ten year long friendship.
When Keith walks into the lecture room of his General History class, he sees a familiar face, the face that belongs to the boy who filled his childhood summers with endless laughs and moments he’ll remember till the day he dies, and he’s conviently sat right next to him.
Will they repair the friendship they once had due to fate and a seating arrangement, or would they continue to drift apart as life wears on, the past staying the past?

“I already told you, I don’t have hypothermia,” Lance says. “I’m okay. I’m just really, really cold.”
Keith raises an eyebrow. “What do you think hypothermia is?”
“Oh, don’t get all technical. I—”
His body betrays him by breaking out into another fit of shivers, so violent they leave him dizzy, his vision dark at the edges.
It knocks most of the fight out of him, and he sits there for a moment, feeling miserable and pathetic.
“Look,” Keith says, his voice low and infuriatingly kind, “you can drop the act. I know you. I can tell when you’re not okay.”
Lance stares at him, feeling exposed and cut to the bone.
“I could get better on my own,” he says.
“You won’t,” Keith tells him bluntly. “Not unless you let me help you.”

Getting stranded in a cave during a blizzard is bad. Having to rely on Keith Kogane for warmth is… complicated. Lance survives the night. Figuring out what it meant is another story.
