The arrow came to rest level with her mouth. She wet her lips, adjusting her head minutely at the last second so as to not catch her ear on the string as she steadied herself.

OR, Kazumi Asogi has immense hubris when it comes to her archery skills, which puts her in a weird situation when she turns out to be only alright at it.
