Summary
Getting the Enterprise-D ready for launch should be simple: install the systems, train the crew, and boldly go. Instead, the replicators are broken, the uniforms are missing, and half the ship is held together with good intentions and a dwindling supply of good coffee. Between botched updates, karaoke, and new friendships forged under extreme wardrobe conditions, the crew is just trying to survive long enough to actually launch.
This is a revision of the original version that fixes a few issues I ran into. Completed and will be posted regularly.

Join the crew of the Enterprise as they navigate the challenges of getting ready for her shake down. From malfunctioning replicators to limited uniform options, chaos abounds.
This version replaces the prior one in order to make the story flow more smoothly and introduce some elements that I came up with a bit late in the game. I hope you enjoy massive changes to family trees, no only child orphans!
Pergola+Wingsproggle started as a very helpful beta reader and has become as good as a co-writer in terms of idea contribution.
