Summary
Bruce Grant is a genius who managed to recreate the super-soldier serum. Natasha Romanov, aka the Black Widow kidnaps him and brings him back to a Russian base. At the base, he resists every form of torture Natasha tries, even coming close to escaping. He finally hands over some information, unbelievably, to save Natasha’s life.
S.H.I.E.L.D. rescues Bruce from the base and he makes them bring along Natasha.
She’s broken, brainwashed, and dangerous. The world wants her executed. SHIELD wants her contained. But Bruce? He sees a human being worth saving. And he's willing to put everything on the line—his science, his freedom, and eventually, his heart—to prove she’s more than the monster they made her.
As Natasha faces a trial that that seems impossible to win, Bruce fights back in the only way he can: with knowledge, law degrees, and if he needs to, brute force.
What begins as survival turns into redemption, slow-burn loyalty, and something Natasha never expected: a second chance.
