Summary
“I was chosen as the bass player, Paul.” Stu said as he threw a punch at Paul - which was harder to block than Paul would admit.
“Me.” Paul threw a punch back, wishing Stu would shut his mouth and focus on the goddamn fight.
“And guess what, Paul?” They both stood a bit apart, breathing heavily and the tension building.
“I’ll always be. Until I die, you won’t get your hands on that sweet, sweet bass regardless of how much you want to”

Paul and Stu's fight was about his bass playing. Or, it was over a monetary dispute. Or, it was simply a clash of personalities. In reality, it was a little of all of them and mostly about none of them - but something they would never admit to each other or themselves.
