Rey slowly turned back her attention to him, cheeks pink from embarassment. "I would like to apologize for my friend's behaviour. He's got a keen attraction for handsome dark haired men and obvisouly can't keep his mouth shut to save the day".
Did... Did she just say he was attractive ?
His lips curled up in a small lopsided grin for what must had been the tenth times today. Everyone be damned, hope was such an incredible thing...
Could he allow himself to flirt just a little ?
They had just met, in a strictly professional situation, after all. And he couldn't forget that she knew nothing of him aside from what they had talked about for the investigation. This would probably not be a good idea...
The teasing words left his mouth before he could contain them. "No harm done, please do not worry. Although, I must admit that, personnally, I have a keen interest in brown-haired beauties with hazel eyes".

As far as Rey's concerned, her boss can blow an aneurysm. Kylo Ren, more like the big bad wolf, with all his huffing and puffing. Nevermind that he's drop-dead gorgeous, he was an Alpha. Rey had dealt with enough Alpha's to know that her adoptive brother was the only one she would tolerate. At least she was lucky enough to not be born an Omega. No, Rey would not be bending over for her boss or any other posturing Alpha male.
Except... that little voice in the back of her head keeps growing louder, and her body has started to ache whenever the overwhelming (insufferable) man is not around. Then there are the urges, probably just sexual frustration, but they are all clamoring for her asshole boss' attention.
Rey just wanted a nice normal life. With Kylo Ren in the mix that dream has shattered. Needless to say, their interactions have the chemical reagents necessary for explosive reactions.

But he had to say it first. He had to.
“Rey.” He took a deep breath, eyes fixed upon her expectant face. “I need you to help me find her.”

The memory of the elevator incident immediately causes her to snort with laughter. Her chair now spinning with the merriment of remembering.
“You mean when I called that asshole in the elevator a—”
“Jumped up, overpaid, Executive’s lapdog.” A sudden voice interrupts from behind her.
That voice..
Oh fuck.
And somewhere in the distance, Phasma is still talking, oblivious to the stand off now happening in the basement.
