A tale of two stars crossing paths that neither would've ever expected.
After the events of Super Mario Odyssey, Mayor Pauline of New Donk City is invited to participate in a Mario Kart competition with Mario and friends. Pauline learns and meets the Mother of the Lumas, Rosalina, in an unforgettable encounter.
The silent, collected Rosalina and the vibrant, snarky Pauline couldn't be more different. Indeed, the two don't seem to have much in common.
Yet, as they become more acquainted, new feelings and emotions, new experiences, and new fears for the future transpire between them.
Where will this path lead? As Rosalina would say: "Only the stars above truly know..."
