Spider-Man has been missing for months. No ransom demands, no sightings—just a city slowly accepting that its hero is gone. But Peter Parker isn’t dead. He’s locked away in a cold, sterile lab, strapped to a table while faceless scientists push his body past its limits, twisting his powers into something unrecognizable.
The only thing keeping him sane is the voice outside his cell. Wade Wilson wasn’t supposed to be here either, but Deadpool has a habit of pissing off the wrong people. Between crude jokes and whispered escape plans, they keep each other alive—until the day the restraints finally snap.
But freedom doesn’t feel like it used to. Peter isn’t sure where the experiments end and where he begins. His reflexes are sharper, his thoughts aren’t always his own, and the hunger—the need—to hurt the people who did this won’t go away. Wade calls him “Spidey” like nothing’s changed, like he isn’t a walking nightmare stitched together by cruelty.
But Peter knows better.
