Summary
Ciel never knew where she came from.
She was left at an orphanage as a baby, nameless, without family, and without any explanation. She grew up among brick walls, prayers, and remedies, learning that it was best not to talk about her gift, or curse.
When Dean and Sam Winchester arrive in St. Clare's to investigate a series of unexplained deaths, they find a ten-year-old girl who seems to know more about the dead than she should. What they don't know is that Ciel isn't exactly what she seems either.
And, most importantly, that this girl is her younger sister.
After discovering the truth about her mother, her father, and the blood she carries, Ciel leaves behind the only home she's ever known and hits the road with her two older brothers, two men who grew up without even knowing she existed.
Dean and Sam have always been brothers. Hunters. Winchesters.
Now they need to figure out how to be her brothers too.
And Ciel, for the first time, needs to learn what it means to have a family.
Because perhaps, amidst the monsters, roads, and bloody secrets, there is someone willing to stay long enough for Ciel to discover the difference between monsters and humans.
