Erichthonios is greeted at the gates of Pandaemonium not by the investigative duo of the Warrior of Light and Themis, but by Keyward Hesperos. Interred, trapped with little hope of escape and less of rescue, he is at the keyward's whims. And while he sees little of his father in himself, Hesperos feels otherwise.
