You never quite found yourself again following the plague, even after saving the world and settling into a clearer, more comfortable life in Vesuvia with your partner. Your past will always haunt you no matter how hard you try to move on, and your burning curiosity about the person you once were makes you restless. The Lazaret draws you back across the water.

Summary
The team discuss leadership in the wake of Jack's disappearance; Owen and Ianto have an argument.
Owen is tinkering with a plant that looks fifty shades of venomous and other-worldly, all toxic pink flowers and vines that seem to move by themselves. He glances up at Ianto as he comes down the stairs, his eyes calculating the way they are before he strikes. Ianto’s gotten good at reading that look on Owen’s face, the one he has when he’s working out your weakest, softest parts and wondering which scalpel of an insult is going to cut the deepest, hurt the worst, get him what he wants.
“Coffee, doctor,” he says, neutrally, carefully.
He meets Ianto at the bottom of the stairs, pale-dark (Ianto can never tell what colour his eyes are which is fucking stupid because they’re just brown) eyes watching him with the unnerving focus of a predator. He snatches the cup from his hands and takes a long drink. “You ply me with enough of this, Ianto, and I’ll help you into the Captain’s seat.”

Summary
“I- I thought of a name you could call yourself,” Julian ventures, voice shaky. Montag merely looks expectantly back at the young man, wordless for once. Julian takes a deep breath before he speaks. “Lucio,” he almost whispers, voice catching in his throat, “It means, ‘light.’”
Julian Devorak's life is changed forever when he crosses paths with an enigmatic magician and a mercenary with a troubled past.

Summary
Aftermath of the storm and Jesse did not get off so easy being that close to the formidi-bomb because hurt/comfort.
Or,
The first thing Jesse sees when he wakes up is the blinding yellow-gold of the setting sun casting long shadows over the crouching figures of his friends. He almost panics before he catches sight of Reuben, too.
The first thing Jesse smells is the acrid scent of smoke and the sharp tang of gunpowder clinging to his sweaty skin, remnants of the explosion still lingering in the air.
The first thing Jesse tastes is the metallic iron of his own blood on his cracked lips. He runs his tongue over them, wincing both at the bitterness and the sting of his saliva against the torn skin. The flavor lingers in the back of his throat and he nearly gags on it.
The first thing Jesse feels is the ground trembling with the weight of the destroyed storm’s remains as they fall to the ground. The withered amalgamation of blocks that once formed its body crash down, crushing the damp grass beneath.
The first thing Jesse hears is an insistent, ear-piercing ringing, which gradually fades into a dull throbbing pain in the back of his skull. The second thing Jesse hears is… nothing.
