And it doesn’t feel like he’s lost Buck to Tommy. It’s just. It’s different.
Because sometimes Buck will show up at Eddie’s house still adjusting his belt, a little messy-haired and swollen-lipped, and Eddie will give him a questioning look before Buck shrugs and explains like it’s the most simple thing in the world, “Tommy dropped me off.”
Because occasionally Buck will say stuff like “Did you know Tommy can pick me up during sex? Like fully just hoist me up by my thighs and fuck me against the wall. He’s so fucking strong.”
Because it’s one thing to know your best friend is having sex. And it’s another thing to know exactly when and how your best friend gets fucked.
OR; buck dishes to eddie about his sex life which is torture for eddie's gay little brain. and eddie just has to act how best friends like them always do, because that's all that's allowed, right?

Summary
Tommy strained against the ropes, his muscles bulging as he tried to free himself, but the ropes only dug deeper into his skin, the angry red marks beginning to bleed.
"No point in struggling" Eddie pushed himself off the wall and walked closer, "The more you struggle the tighter it gets" an amused , dark grin on his face.
"Why are you doing this ?" Tommy asked trying to keep a calm composed tone but Eddie heard the tremors in his voice.
"You tried to take something from me" he snarled as he walked over to Tommy.
A flicker of realization sparked in Tommy’s eyes, his voice trembling as he spoke. “I—is this about Evan?”

Eddie looked like a fucking pornstar, strutting into the firehouse like he knew exactly what he was doing. All shoulders and ass and an 80’s stache that had Buck’s blood rushing down so fast he’d thought he would pass out right then and there.
Like the good friend he was, he intercepted him before he arrived at the common area and shoved him into a supply closet, locking the door behind them. “Eddie, what the fuck?”

Eddie grows a beard, then loses half of it. Buck apparently has a facial hair kink. (Includes Buck getting rimmed by Eddie pornstache Díaz, then fucked over a table. Also a little fluff bc wink).

When Eddie joins the 118, he and Buck don't exactly hit it off on the right foot. Or continue to walk on the right foot. In fact they kind of can't stand each other.
Good thing they each have a beloved anonymous pen pal to share their daily woes with, someone completely unlike their insufferable coworker.
Or, in which Buck and Eddie love each other before they know each other, and know each other before they love each other.
